Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
22 Hair Studio operates a men's grooming service catalog with store details and contact options. Our studio is in Chatsworth, California. Call or text the studio for privacy questions.
2. Information collected
When you visit, our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser details, timestamps, requested pages, and security logs to serve and protect the site. If you call or text us, your telephone provider and ours may process your number, communication content, and related records. Clicking a call, text, directions, or Instagram link may open a separate app or service with its own privacy practices. This version of the website does not contain a contact form or an online booking form. If forms are added later, this policy must be updated before collection begins.
3. Google Analytics 4
We plan to use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand visits, page views, approximate geographic trends, and interactions. GA4 must remain disabled until you affirmatively accept analytics cookies. If enabled, GA4 may set first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_<container-id>, to distinguish visits and measure usage. GA4 receives event and device information. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses, although IP addresses may be used transiently to derive coarse location and related information. We do not intentionally send names, phone numbers, or message contents to GA4. GA4 configuration and Google's processing practices may change.
4. Cookies and choices
Necessary browser storage remembers your cookie preference. Optional analytics cookies are off unless you select Accept, or tick Allow analytics cookies under Customize or Cookie settings. Decline has equal prominence. You can change your choice using in the footer. You can also clear cookies in your browser. Rejecting analytics does not stop essential hosting and security processing.
5. Purposes and legal bases
We process technical information to provide and secure the site, respond to communications, and meet legal obligations. Where GDPR or similar rules apply, optional analytics relies on consent, while site delivery and security may rely on legitimate interests or another applicable lawful basis. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Retention
GA4 event-level data retention should be configured to 2 months unless a documented business need supports another permitted period; aggregated reporting may be retained differently. GA4 cookies can persist for up to 2 years depending on settings and renewed activity. Our preference record remains in your browser until cleared or replaced. Hosting/security log and phone/text retention periods must be verified with the respective providers and documented before publication. We do not promise deletion of information held by independent providers through this website alone.
7. Sharing and international processing
Information may be processed by hosting/security providers, Google (only for analytics after consent), telecommunications providers, and services you choose to open, such as maps or Instagram. These providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and provider agreements. We do not knowingly sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising through this website; reassess this statement if marketing tools are added.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing; withdraw consent; or lodge a complaint with a privacy authority. California residents may have rights under CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing where applicable, subject to legal exceptions. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights. Contact us at the phone number above. We will verify requests as legally required. If a sale/sharing practice is later introduced, additional controls and disclosures will be required.
9. Children
This site is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly request information directly from children. Parents and guardians may contact us about relevant concerns.
10. Security and changes
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the website, but no internet transmission is risk-free. We may update this policy; the revision date above will change when material updates are made.
